A touch on the low side, but nothing to worry about.
Last time I checked mine... I got:
1) 155
2) 157
3) 160
4) 157
But remember, gauges vary tremendously. In fact, I think the relative distribution is far more important than the actual numbers (within reason, of course). Your distribution is great, ~ 5%.
Where about's in Quebec are you? I'm in Montreal...

Hay!!! you guys,you should come to the track in St-Eustache this coming summer(early May)on Mondays and Tuesdays.The instructor drives an S2 and we need support to fight off the 911's.
Anyway Chas is wrigt,the compression should be above 145psi according to the manual,but since not all gauges are equal,less then 10% difference between all cylinders is recommended.
Hope to see you at the track this spring

No it's not a club event.Anyone and any car is allowed on the track,as long as he has been qualified by Dave the instructor for the track.This basicaly means that he gets in your car with you for a couple of laps to make sure you understand the rules and that you know how to drive.The initial cost is 20$ for Dave and 20$ for each 20min session on the track with a maximum of 8 cars. This happens every Monday and tuesdays from 5pm to sun down.

The results of a compression test can vary depending on;
1) Engine cold, warm, or running temp.
2) The overlap of the camshaft.
3) Number of revolutions the motor turned for the test.
4) Compression equip. used and to some degree, the operator.
5) Probably a lot more than I know.
You'll typically find less consitency when the motor is cold. More overlap, lower results. Mine runs 140-144 when cold.
