This forum cracks me up! I'll be sure to let you guys know how it turns out, but I'm pretty positive that I can predict the outcome. He does have the DSG, but I think by the time he shifts, I'll be ahead by a bit. I am also not surprised at the curb weight...I'd say I have a good chance at winning, yes?
Nope, he was deployed with me in Iraq when I was buying all the mods. He would glance over and look at the photos every once in a while.
I think he just doesn't want to admit his $55k new car would be beat by my 25 year old "poor mans Porsche."
No commotion really. He really isn't a car guy, and while a really nice guy, he's kind of obsessed with his new car and thinks that he can't be beat
