well if you are always running rich, then there is no reason to worry about blowing anything. You might not get as much power as a perfect AF ratio, but, you will pervent anything from blowing. I'm sure nailing the perfect AF ratio takes quite a bit of time.

running rich is just as bad. The extra fule washes oil off the cylinder walls and your rings will score them up.......

Fuel controller for a MAF, custom chips........... or go all out with a DFI system!

Luke, are you using any type of fuel controller or just the chips? what did you plug the pro-flow MAF up to?

this perticular PRO FLOW has a fuel controller that looks identical to the LR "mac 2" ?!?!? i.e. idle and general mixture settings.

Maybe Im confused here but in reading about af mixtures and how the stock computer uses tables at high rpms, wouldnt you still need to have aftermarket chips with any maf because the fuel controllers wont change the tables the stock chips will be using at high rpms?
