I think he runs Extremely HIGH 14's. Very sad. Such wasted power.

The pro flow is avalible from www.modernperformanceinc.com Nick is a GREAT guy. He gave me a bunch of advice.

I really like this pro flow, except, the included cone (K&N, as large as you can squeeze in that corner) it actually COLLAPSED itself.

Under a load in high gears (3rd, 4th) the induction noise is LOUDER than the exhasut! sounds like there is a JET next to you.

I see full boost at 3k rpm's, but everything after that just flies past........

My car's an 86', about 85k miles now .......no abs, no airbags, no power steering, no windsheild washer resovior, no glove box (hehe, panel project). It's stone grey with burgandy interior. the interior is "tearless" and in just about the best shape I have seen for the color (which I REALLY like!) The exterior has some clear coat issues on the front, but is pretty great everywhere else. I think the front was resprayed because of stone chips. I have painted (silver , zermatt) phones.

I NEED brakes!

Congrats luke, I'm glad you got everything worked out, I can only say I'm happy for you and I hope when I get another car and get it set up I have that sort of enthusiasm.

OVER ENTHUSIASTIC? not POSSIBLE!

My rear shocks are TOAST, so I can't imagine having any better traction than I do now. I can't possibly imagine what more power than this would be like on the road. There simply isn't enough room.

If anything, I started out being OVER SCKEPTICAL. I was expecting a turbo tht SMOKES and another 50hp. You can't QUANTIFY what this car FEELS like!

BTW, where are you from? Im up for a road trip

IAN,

Im gonna be driving down to FLA with some freinds. Wanna check it out?

Hey Luke!! I am in Orlando. Would love to see the car and meet a fellow 951 rennlister. I am new to the 951's and would love to learn from you and what you have done to your car.

I would be happy to drive in FL to meet if you will not be in the central FL area.

You have the pro flow MAF and chips also? the MAF did not have to use it's own chips?

EXCELLENT! I have a PRO FLOW and HUNTLEY CHIPS.

You really dont need chips with the PRO FLOW unless you want to get rid of the fuel cut off and your rev limiter.

With the huntley chips, both my mixtures are around -30 to -20 % lean, so there is TONS of adjustablity

Question

What type of hp/tq gains with the pro flow alone? HOw muc is the proflow?

So, I can keep my Weltmeister chips AND run the pro flow w/o buying new chips?

I dont know if you'd see any gains at all with just putting on the PRO FLOW?!?! Possibly some thottle response on low end torque from "un-kinking" the intake tract. But any gains would be from upping boost and correcting A/F issues.

I think a MAF equiped k26/6 car at 18psi is capable of extremely low 13's

Luke,

I'll be in FA the first of June.. won't have my car though as I'm flying.. but I'd love to see yours. Where will you be going? I'll be close to Daytona, but we'll be going all over, so I could possibly go to wherever you'll be. WHen will you be there?

Question

With 18psi I would have to upgrade to the wide fire head gasket right?

I just blew a widefire headgasket at 16psi. Boost level doesn't really have anything to do with it. More like air-fuel ratios and ignition timing. Setting those to keep knock/detonation at bay and you can run 25psi without a problem. Some people even add nitrous on top of that!
