Default Just about Complete

Hey guys, I just thought I would share this project with fellow 944 owners. I ended up trading a porch for this car that had been sitting since the late 90's. The owner just kept the oil fresh and started it every so often but for the past 10 years it just sat. The car needed to be striped of all of its paint so I thought it would be time for a wide body kit and some fresh paint. I replaced the factory seats with racing adjustable buckets, Stainless steel intake and charge tubes, K27-6 turbo, 3" Stainless exhaust with a Aero Turbine muffler, 19"x11's in the rear with 295's and 19"x8's with 245's in the front, new shocks, fresh oil every where, fresh brake fluid, some tint all around, custom fiberglass box in place of the rear seat with two subs, custom nose, bla bla bla. I met Sid on this site and he introduced me to Josh with Rouge and I going to have him do his M tune for E85 with injectors so it should be fun. This is my first Porsche so I am learning all of the ins and outs.

Looks very nice! Where did you get those rims and front bumper? Is this car only for the track? Are you going to have turn signals in the front?

Needs to be lowered. I admire the work from a skill standpoint but i just dont like the look. Kinda Batmanish.

Nice work. Especially for your first P-car. More pics would be good...and get some video also.

It would appear that you've used some of the Autosport / Broadfoot body parts. What I can't quite figure out from the pics is that in the first one it appears as if you've got wider versions of the stock 1/4 panels, but then in the 5th pic it shows one of their bolt on flared fenders. So did you bond that up so much to take away from the more obvious look of a bolt on flare? This is what it appears to be in the last pic. If so, is this what you did on the front as well?

You might experience some understeer with quite a large stagger between front and rear wheel/tyre sizes. These cars tend to favour a more square setup. With that widebody kit you can fit at least 10.5" and 285s on the front.
They're 10.5" x 18" w 305s in my avatar.

Certainly a larger front wheel and lower.. It will complete the whole look. I noticed a very different front air opening on the header panel. Looks pretty custom. Good job. You'll love it for years.

That's a very different approach - I like it - and it definitely needs to be lowered - keep us posted.
