Major Score! Big Red Setup $500!!!
I just got the "major score" from a good buddy.
996TT 2 piece rotors (drilled) with the proper "hats" for late model 951's (nonM030), and 993TT Big Reds, with factory pads (they look brand new) and adapters for $500. Talk about a good buddy deal.
I think there maybe more of these available. Lots of people at this shop with BIG DOLLAR 996TT with tons of mods (mammoth aftermarket brakes being installed on these cars).
Looks like I'll have to dump my factory Brembos and cross drilled rotors (damn... just purchased the rotors and Pagid oranges).
I'll post if more of these brakes become available for sure.

Sorry... I meant to say that the rotors and calipers were from a 996TT. He's got the proper hat/rotor setup to fit our cars. Just got them.
I still have to sort out what is what. Haven't installed them yet.

How much for your set of cross drilled rotors Tony? A few runs to 150 and back down left my stock brakes trailing smoke. Noticed the rotors are pretty worn too. Would Cross drilled's all around make that much of a diffrence over stock?

I'm not sure if I would sell you the rotors/pads.
The rotors/pads only have about 1000 miles on them, but for some reason when hot, they feel like they start to warp. When they cool, they feel like they straighten out.
I have no ideal why this is. My initial thoughts are that the Pagid Oranges are transfering compound to the rotors which "clumps up".
This is purely a guess at best.
The rotors are cross drilled and cryo treated and are from Huntley Racing (as are the Pagid Orange pads). Huntley offered to replace the rotors, but I declined because I wanted to change out the pads and see if the condition existed (not wanting Huntley to have to eat the cost of a set of rotors for no reason).
So even if I sold them to you (or anybody else), I would have to disclose that something weird is up even if all the stuff is almost brand new.

the 996 TT do NOT has a tow piece rotor.
this must be a 993TT.
the big reds do not work with the 996TT rotors.

If it all works out for you, $500 was a great price.
Just as an FYI, here's a link for the parts in a "big-black" upgrade:

OK..
Just "sorted things out".
The rotors are the 2 piece 993TT rotors and 993 Big Reds.
Now that I have the stuff, I can figure out what it will take to make it fit. The caliper adapters that were offered to me were for the '86 car and won't work. So it looks like I will need the later style caliper adapters. They said they'll just "whip out a couple". We'll see if they fit!
I think these rotors will be a direct bolt-on with no change in "hats" necessary.
Once I get this brake thing fully sorted out, since I've never really messed with upgrading brakes, I'll move forward and see just how much of this stuff I can get for "yall".
As usual...any info on fitment issues with these parts would be appreciated.
