Post Quick question

What should I pay for an '86 951 with around 115K in good condition. KBB says around 5K I don't believe that. I'm a n0ob to Porsches, just trying to find out all I can before I make a decision on what to buy within the next few months. TIA

You said you post on ICCH? Are you a member of ICCH, or do you just post?

I just post and occasionally make it out to the north side meet and westhiemer. So around 5K is a good price for a 951 huh? I had people telling me that if I bought one for 5K then I'd spen at least that much fixing things.

You don't find a good 951 for 5 K. Even with 115 K miles you spend at least 7 K. The mileage is not that big of an issue, they can go 200 to 250 K miles easily if the previous owner was not a DIY screwup specialist.
