Post Bad Clutch?

When gearing down, my whole car shakes/vibrates violently (scary) The only way to stop this is by giving a little gas while gearing down to smooth it out. Bad clutch? ? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Tyler

Oh, and the car only has a little over 60,000 miles on it. I originally thought it was the engine mounts, which were collapsed (now replaced). I noticed a huge difference with new mounts, but none in the above mentioned problem.

Thanks Again,
Tyler

Unhappy

I'm having the problem and because of that I posted last year (see below). I belive is a bad re-shape of flywheel when the clutch was done.

Thanks turboven.... So you did not experience this before your clutch was done? I would not have thought my clutch would be toast after 60,0000 miles (unless really abused before I got it?) Any other ideas out there?

I posted about this the other day on the 924/944/951/968 forum.....I'm having the same problem. Several suggestions from motor mounts, tranny mounts to pinion teeth wearing/breaking. I hope it's my motor mounts.....

Good luck....
