The only Quaife seq transaxle I've found is rated to 450 bhp maximum.
What's the Audi 944 S2 transaxle rated for?

I've been running between 500TQ and 600TQ for years on end without a failure (as long as you don't use 1st or 2nd gear).

The point being that the ratings in general are very conservative.

I just can't bring myself to spend the $$$ on a Hewland

I see your point but I just broke a 968 gearbox (3rd gear) and it's one thing to replace stock gearboxes for 1500-2000 USD but a totally different thing to risk destroying a setup for 10x the money. My setup will be 20-25k USD but then at least it's rated well above my engine's output.

I think we all can agree that Duke has the 'best short **** kit.' I would have to sell my car to be able to afford one, but other than that there is nothing I do not like about it!

No to mention how much faster it makes a turbo car. Some people can hustle an H pattern through the cogs pretty quickly but it's super slow by comparison to a Sequential gearbox. There is virtually no loss of spool and just a constant surge of acceleration. Should be good for a 1-2 second improvement on most tracks. Obviously substantially more if it's at 'The Ring'!!
