I build an all-chromoly short shifter at the trans for the 944/951 boxes. I guarantee it for life because its a large teflon-lined heim and welded upright end. The ones with bolted on uprights loosen with vibrations.

Can't wait to try this setup at the track! (It will be 5 month's though)

The box is from Kaps Transmissions. They mostly do gearboxes for rally and rallycross cars. It's a 6 speed sequential transaxle that can handle 1000 Nm, shift in 40 Ms, external adjustment of preload for the LSD etc.
The shift setup is a full paddle shift from Geartronics.

Sorry for the OT..

What are they selling the transaxle for?

I am considering the Quaife sequential transaxle.

12900 EUR excl VAT without any accessories such as shifters etc.
The only Quaife seq transaxle I've found is rated to 450 bhp maximum.

There's a 3L 8v down here with an SQ gearbox and another one going into a high level project coming together at the moment. 6 speed H patterns are soooo last Century!

Not my project Bas....unfortunately. I'll leave it to that lister to provide details when they're ready but it's going to be very impressive.

Or even better would be to do a race against Europe's quickest TA cars down at the Europen Time Attack Masters (if they do the event 2015)

No question sequential is faster and PDK faster yet, but I'm a last century type, a luddite stuck in the past. That brings me back to xschop...PM to you.
