There have been a few threads in the main 944 forum. So far everyone loves it.

I tried to install mine 2 weeks ago but I couldn't get my old one off the bottom shaft...

I tried everything except heat due to close to the gas tank.

Any tips?

Yes the original part was a bit difficult to remove. A little heat around collar on shaft, liquid wrech and a gear puller and it slipped off. Mike

Ok, i soaked the axle in rust eating liquid and gave up for that moment.

Now I just bought an S2 box from UK so will install on this one and swap my turbo box in the spring.

Blade: Do you recommend any couriers that ship to Sweden cheap?

Lindsey Racing makes one that seems nice.

And that's just the shift lever itself, not a short shift mechanism.

I just ordered this setup to go along with my new gearbox... pretty sure it wins the "shortest" shift kit
