I guess thats the best way to describe it, it's not a sqeaky squeal its just lower pitched, anyway read thru a bunch of posts regarding a possible faulty CBV and I did apply suction(please don't ask me how I did this) to the top intake hole and it seemed to hold suction, if in fact I did this very scientific test correctly what would be the next step in finding the source of the sound and fixing it. Thanks for any hints and tips.

Check your belt tension.

Remove that CBV and try to blow through it's ports... The diaphram could be ok in the vac port, but there still could be an issue.

If that holds, check for vac leaks.

Do you have any modifications to the car at all?

Thanks for the reply, I did take the cbv off and it seems to be pretty solid, after putting it back on I noticed I didn't tighten down one of the
vacum hoses, I didn't test it out but as embarrassingly loose as it was, I'm almost certain that is where the sound was coming from.
Sorry to waste your time for not doing a more thorough job of looking things over, thanks much for the help.
