Default Question on Alternator duct

Installed the cooling duct after work today, what a pain.

Is there supposed to be an insert in the gap at the top of the shroud were the wires pass through?

Thanks
Steve

Yes, there is a rubber plug that fits in the channel where the wires go into the duct at the top of the alternator.

This is what it looks like. Ignore the "modified" (removed) plastic ears on the alternator shroud... had to make room for the bigger turbo:

Thanks for the photo.

Looks like when I get one, I will be cutting a slit in it to install. Because i sure dont plan to pull the duct off to slip it onto the cable.
