Default Picked up another 944 turbo - no motor/trans - pics

I traded the motor from the black metallic 89 turbo for this shell. Came with no motor or trans or wheels - rolling on my boxster twists with late offset front and early offset rear. Plus front and rear wheels are swapped It is a 1986 turbo that was rebuilt from a fire as I understand it. Has mostly only seen track use. Interior color is interesting and I need to research the front calipers more. Has aftermarket suspension on the front and a 6 point cage.

Going to part it. Yep - brown dash and I don't think it has any cracks in it.

How much would you be looking for the dash and steering wheel? Separate prices please.

That car's perfect for me! Already dented so I wouldn't worry about the kids dropping the bikes on them, or having a ladder fall on it, or ever having to worry about parking it next to an old pickup at the mall.

I sort of hate to break up the interior - everything is in great shape except the carpet has holes cut in it for the cage. I was thinking $300 for the dash and $75 on the steering wheel? Shift boot is the same dark brown and in beautiful shape too.

Camber plates say KMR on them - not sure what that stands for - maybe Koklen? Cage is a 6 point bolt in PCA approved with the sticker still in place. No door bars but they could be added pretty easily.

Josh,

When you dissasemble the rollbar, would you mind posting a picture of how the front posts get bolted onto the tub? I am curious if they are held in with an anchor type bolt.

Thanx

Interested to hear more about those "interesting" calipers. Wondering if there is perhaps a direct bolt-on alternative to the stock calipers (that might be cheaper to source and/or rebuild...)

I like the narrowed rear end look...aka Pro Street!
