idle loss with ac on and lights

Exclamation idle loss with ac on and lights

does anyone else loss alot off rpm at idle with the ac on and to mack things worse the lights on at the same time. I'll start at oh about 900 and drop to about 750 or less. Is this normal or what i have all new vacum lines and idle stabilizer.... Im at a loss.

If im right idle should drop and come back up. Every car i have had has done that.

yup, it's normal. But it should come up again, about 900 rpm. With ac and light on, combined they need pretty much power, so that's why the idle drops for a second.

Standard idle for a 951 is at 950. If you're dropping idle spped permanently, then maybe your battery, alternator, or voltage stabilizer is on the way out??? Hve a search on the list, and see what you can find on the stabilizer. I know Iceshark did do an uprated one that may help......

It may very well be a bad ground. 944's are notorious for bad grounds. Do a search on "grounds" on the main 944 forum. Lots of info there.
