If you mean independent shop yes I do.

How much is one of these cars worth with no mechanical or physical issues?

7-8k, because if you dont work on your car and need a shop a couple of oil leaks could mean 1 to 2k in repairs

On 944s? Or oil pan gaskets in general? Pan gasket on a 944 is a pretty involved job....

But otherwise, it sounds like you got a pretty fair deal to me. From the photos the car looks like it's in good shape. Congrats on the purchase!

Ah... ok, then you have at least a somewhat good idea.

To me, pulling the K-member and that blasted turbo crossover pipe to swap out the oil pan gasket is a bit of work. Tho I imagine, to someone who has already done it a few times, it's probably not too bad. But I'll warn you - pulling that crossover pipe sucks. The connection at the turbo is a PAIN!

Turbo is way different because you have all the extra exhaust plumbing. If you still have the 1pc x-over it could be a real pita.

Rod beaeings are main bearing are more complicated but I wont change them unless the rod bearing turn out to really worn. And it is maintenance because if you dont worry about them on a car that has alot of miles and have no idea how hard the engine has been pushed then you could have a more serious issue later on like engine failure. I dont want that. And niether do i want to take a chance
