Question engine stand ??
Can anyone recommend a good engine stand? Something that gets the job done with out breaking the bank..

Just get a universal stand. I have my 951 motor on one now. I did have to make some spacers to clear the back of the engine though, a few bolts stacked up will work. Good luck

we used a universal one for putting my head on when the short-block arrived...

you can get one at just about any auto parts store (advance auto, pep boys etc)

I, too, just use a very basic universal engine stand that I bought at Pep Boys for something like $49. It works great!!
