Post 951 in accident!!!!

well bust my noodle! I was going up to zimms autotechnic in uless...and my friend kyle was riding with me...it was totally my fault because i always leave myself a "hole" some place to move to if some else around me does something stupid.I was traveling about 45 mph and running right along side two other cars.A korean guy in a small toyota truck pulled right out in front of everyone!!! The guy to the right of me was okay because the truck stopped in the center lane right in front of me.The guy to the left of me swerved to the left up on the curb and got away...and i was stuck right in the middle and hit his left front wheel...he just jumped right out in the middle of traffic without looking and saw everyone and froze! I was able to shut the car off to about 10 when i connected to him(no one was hurt) but, my front bumber has scratches all over it and my nose piece is bent in! For those of you who know...my car has been in the paint shop for the past 5 weeks...getting a custom hand rubbed paint job done...and was going to lindsey racing this next saturday. Now right before i leave for vegas i have to deal with his insurance company and hope that they can match the custom paint job.The cops wrote him a ticket for failing to yield to traffic...and from what english that came out of his mouth that i could understand he was very apologetic and said his insurance will pay for everything....but i know insurance...hell my father sold it for 10 years...and i know this is going to be a b$%^# to deal with ...the paint was only 48hrs old and worth six thousand dollers! Now i have to call dave tomorrow and tell him i wont be able to make our saturday appointment and that our buisness will have to wait until after i can get the car fixed and i return from vegas! This makes me look very unprofessional...and tells him i am not a man of my word! I am very upset at the situation and it makes me look like an idiot! On a side note i will now get the vented nose panel i wanted before i painted the car the first time ...but now my 363 kit will have to wait a month until the car is fixed.I think i will send the car to stuarts because they do alot of work for boardwalk porsche and if anyone can match the paint and clear coats they can!

Ouch man! Sorry to hear that. At least everyone (besides your baby) is okay. Do you have any pics of that car before/after the incident?

why not ship the car down to lindsey and have them match the new pieces to something off the car, like the (soon to be replaced) header panel etc? might as well kill both thigns @ once.
