Why would you need custom pipes if you could just weld new flanges or cut/extend the stock ones as needed to the new flanges? As long as the pipes go to the same general place i dont think new pipes are really a must are they? Also whats the diff in a 270 degree and 360 degree bearing?

I did not compare apples to apples. Where did you get yours again?

SFR? Danno? Somebody has to know what the deal about putting full garretts on a 951 is.

I might just end up getting one of those TO4E/T3's and some flanges and go from there. Its either that or a Pre Ban AK-47

Yes I know.

Your cross over pipe and exhaust down pipe won't fit.

You have to have them modifed with at a minimum, proper flanges.

Send them off to SFR. He can modify the parts to fit.

Also... the center section lower flange is smaller than that of the KKK.

The only way to ensure it doesn't leak oil is to have a spacer machined, with a smaller "O" ring and receiver groove cut in. Then fit the new spacer with "O" ring in between the turbo mount, and the turbo.

Again.... SFR has done this.

OK, so what your saying is. Other then having a muffler shop, or SFR do some work to my downpipe, and crossover with some garrett flanges, its pretty much a bolt up? What about mounting the thing? And what will a TO4E/T3 60 trim compare to.... like a huntley stage one or two? or what? I just cant seem to find much info at all on NON hybrid garretts for 951's

Unless your muffler shop works with Stainless (which 99.9% of muffler shops don't) they won't be touching your downpipe and crossover pipe (and respective flanges).

Also, as I mentioned before, the bottom of the turbo will leak because the KKK lower flange is much wider than that of the Garrett. See notes on how to adapt in my previous post.

As far as a comparision of turbos goes, I can't help since I've never run a Huntley turbo.

Oh..

Also.. I don't know what size turbine housing you plan to run, but if it's a big one, it won't clear the motor mount.

More custom work to do :-)
