Post vac line routing question

I'm currently replacing all the 'small' vac lines on my 86 951, using the kit from lindsey. The current routing on the car leaves a bit to be desired, so using it as a reference is not a the best of ideas. Overall it's not too bad, except one line I'm completely confused about:
From the vapor purge system, part 944 110 429 00, there's a small vac line that comes off of this. The diagram with the lindsey kit shows this line going to the intake manifold between the runners for 3 and 4, where the KLR line also goes. The diagram as this url vac line diagram also shows the same thing (it's part 'K' I'm talking about here). However, on my car this line went from the vapor purge stuff, to a tee, one end of which was inserted into a plastic nipple on a fairly thick hose right behind the speed/reference sensor bracket. The other end of this tee was just flapping in the wind. I can't seem to match this hose/nipple up with anything on either of the diagrams I'm using, and I'm wondering what I need to do? Just tee there off to the manifold between 3 and 4? Connect that line directly to the nipple with no tee? Don't connect it at all, and figure out what SHOULD be there? help! (I'll try to get pictures of this tomorrow, too dark/rainy now.)

There is a sensor screwed into the head that this line goes to. It is right next to the cycle valve. This sensor has two ports: the other one goes to the port off of the UNDERSIDE of the throttle body.

Mike, where did you get that diagram? Where can I find more diagrams like that for all parts of the 951 (brakes, boost, fuel, electrical, mechanical, etc)???

So this gets better. Got out today and started taking a good long look at things. The original problem was that the car was overboosting, which I suspected was a boost leak somewhere, or the line to the wastegate slipping out a bit under boost. Oh boy if only. At sometime in this car's life the engine was replaced, and whoever did it had NO idea where the lines went. Amongst some of the more amusing things I found: the wastegate line was teed into the line from the vac reservior. So it was connected to the heating system and the brake booster. No boost signal at all (!?!?). The port on the cycling valve that SHOULD have gone to the wastegate? That was connected to the vapor purge stuff. Gonna get the intake manifold off tomorrow and rerun EVERYTHING. The things you find...

Oz, Great vacuum line diagram. I've been trying to demystify the tangled mess of PO vacuum lines for several months. You made it happen!

Since I've removed the cycling valve and routed the LBE directly to the wastegate, I'd like to adjust the chart accordingly. Would you send me the source file (Visio, Powerpoint)?.

I'd be happy to modify and post accordingly for LBE owners. Thanks! - Mark

yes, i too would really like the original (vector? layered raster? what did you do it in?) version... i'm making a LOT of changes to my car as it doesn't have a fuel-vent nor heater, and would prefer to have a good visual reference for those helping me on this project who aren't as 951 versed if you could be so kind as to email or pm me that'd be great!
