Lightbulb Idea: dual 3" exhaust tips ?

What do you guys think about this idea?

i have a full 3" exhaust and im going to dump the wastegate out the rear and came up with this idea.

basically the wastegate will dump into a 2.5" pipe all the way to the muffler then turn into 3" so it looks the rear will look like something that came out of the factory but larger.

after the 2x 45 degree bends is a 3"-2.5" reducer to go all the way back

maybe slash cut the tips also? and polished

these are just off-cuts just to see how it will look.

Never was a fan of dual tips, but does the wastegate dump pipe really need to be that big?

I still think that an unmuffled wastegate sounds like a demented Hoover…..

neither was i to be honest. i never really liked having the wastegate dumped right under the car. because i've got a 2.5" tube in my backyard i thought id use that and i was going to go all the way but then i seen i have left over 3" bends and just use them up and pretty much came up with the idea of having dual 3" tips instad of 1 thats 2.5"

if it sounds that bad when its dumped to the back i might put a hotdog or small resonator on it

The orange car on Lindseys main page has this setup, it seems like they might use a smaller pipe than 3". 2.5" is probably more than enough. I think it's only 2" at the pipe that dumps out the bottom of the WG.

I did the same on my car 3 inch exhaust and 2in. waste gate dump and I had them staggered, I personally liked the look, and muffled the waste gate some too.
