Cool porsche blow off valve

Hi i have a question. I just want to know if anyone knows if a porsche racing blow off valve is good. Also where can i find it to order it if it is good. I have a 1986 944 turbo with 2 europroducts chips, lindsey boost enhancer, fuel regulator, bolia muffler with a test pipe and a hks blow off valve on it right now. Thanks for any information.

if you are you talking about the ones the vent to astmostphere, I didn't know porsche made them. I'ld sure like to know what they look like. I had a hks, but due to it's huge size, I bought a 60$ replacement. much smaller.

If your looking to have a valve that vents to atmosphere I recomend the apex twin chamber. Although not the cheapest it vents immediatley and will halndle all the boost you can throw at it IMHO sounds really cool too.

I'm usre you've heard it before, but
I'll say it anyway. You shouldn't vent to atmosphere if you are still using the AFM. You'll run rich after getting on the throttle again.

The apex twin has an ajustable ring around the outlet of the the blow off valve so you can make it quieter or louder. I think it is pretty loud on the loudest setting which is where I have mine set. It has a pretty high pitched pssssssst on shifts however I dont think it is as loud as some of the blow off valves with the trumpet design.

Or you could not vent to the atmosphere and have the boost saved between shifts and not defeat the purpose of the BOV.
