I would move that anyone considering the use of a public forum please think twice about posting negative things simply to expedite your personal service. I have been in business for 13 years and when I read these posts, my blood pressure must go to 180/120. Please remember that in some instances, these people are trying to feed their families in a tough economy, and that Rennlist may be a large percentage of their target market.

extortion (n) The illegal use of one's official position or powers to obtain property, funds or patronage.
I have an idea as to what you are referring to, but perhaps you are willing to be more specific? Using this forum to discuss the merits of one product versus the drawbacks of another is merely word of mouth advertising. Whether it comes from the producer, end user or prospective buyer, I'm fairly certain it is not ILLEGAL. Though I am not an attorney, nor do I play one on the Rennlist.
Nor am I a physician, but I would look into that blood pressure thing.

Actually, if I ran a company, I would consider an open forum like this before I treated customers poorly. I've obtained information that I consider priceless on Rennlist about companies that may have undeservedly gotten my money.

Not sure of the incident you're referring to, but tough economy and feeding families is no excuse for poor service or product.
One of my previous horrible managers fed his employees this same line at a staff meeting right after we lambasted him with poor feedback. He would have done better to correct his actions and apologize instead of issue threats and beg for us to save him because he had kids.
Many people share this economy and feed families of their own. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
