Post Added brake fluid, warning light still on!

Hey guys, I asked this in the main 944 forum so forgive the crosspost...just in case any turbo owners like to keep to themselves

My brake fluid warning light came on the other day, so I popped the hood today to take a look and see if it was just a bad ground or if the fluid actually was low. Well, it was just a tiny bit below the min spot (thankfully I haven't driven it since the light came on...stupid Final Exams) so I went out and grabbed some DOT3 and put it in, taking it just under the max mark. The problem is, the warning light is still on when I start the car. If I take the floater out and press on it with my hand the light goes out, so its not a bad ground. There's a little plunger looking button on the top of the filler cap, whats that for? Any ideas?

Word up Jason,

As you know, I had the same problem. I filled it to almost full line. Still the warning light would come on during sharp turns and slow bumpy terrain. So I filled the sucker up to the top...problem solved

...I suggest you do the same thing. <img src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" border="0" alt="[cheers]" />
