I hooked everything up in stealth mode and threw my cat back in. I now have a FAB Speed complete 3" turbo back exhaust system on the car with a quick change cat option which made it easy to do. I passed with no problems down in Los Gatos. Again, this is with Darwin's system, not the M-tune. I am sure you will not pass visual with the M-Tune. However, there are ways around that as well. Just give me a call.

I have the Mtune in my car. The car is nicked named the Hulk. Set up has a
4" exhaust, 3bar FPR, racing clutch, Adj wastegate, MTune, 80lb Injectors, Suspension work, motor upgrades and so on. The car runs great and power is outstanding. If I want, I could burn my tires up going from 1st to 2nd. Car sounds like an old V8. Idle is around 1000-1100rpm. Joshua really does a good job with this and stands behaind his product. Save your bucks and buy one.

I was ready to pull the trigger and upgrade myself from the A-Tune to the M-Tune but realized that it might bump me a class in my region's autocross classifications. (Rules are a little fuzzy but it does mention changes to the induction system.) So I decided to settle back and just enjoy the A-Tune for now.
And I gotta say - it's refreshing to have seen TWO posts in here from people stating that they opted to do proper maintenance before buying performance upgrades. Seems like the norm is the other way around!

First, I am ticket immune. Next, the car is a beast at all speeds and gears. The pull at the higher speeds has no loss like a stock k26/8 or k27. I have a hybrid turbo with a 3" down pipe, and the Turbo was built to handle over 600hp, not that I will need that. This car is amazing and so much fun to drive. I will dyno soon.

Exactly what turbo do you have? I have a very similar setup as yours on this car, but I have an old (2001) era Huntley Racing dual BB unit. It is actually, brand new, just sitting around for ten years. I like the top end on it, but has more lag than I was expecting. The stocker, definitely spoiled faster, but ran out of gas quick. I need to dyno as well, as soon as my M-tune arrives. However, my buddy from work has a V10 M5 and I can hang with him from 70-110 or so in fourth gear pull. Stay within a car lenght or so, very impressive in my opinion. That is with the current setup I got from Darwin. Before the swap I would lose sight of his taillights.

I went with a garrett 3" turbo housing and down pipe. I had all internals replaced and upgraded. The turbo is capable of over 600rwhp, not that this car will have that. I went to gpopshop in Arkansas, look them up speak to Jerry or Jim. They do a great job and fairly priced. BB are nice, but may spool later. Send the turbo to gpopshop and see what they say. Good luck and tell me how it goes.

Haha I agree with that, I purchased a vitesse chip years ago and it took me 2 years to get around to it.
