951 in Hawk Brake Pad Advertizing Video
Hawk Brake Pad promotional video filmed during the Kohler International Challenge wknd at Road America a month ago.
Photo shoot for upcoming advertizing campaign (apparently the marketing dept determined the motor vehicles alone were not enough to catch everyone's attention, so there is some other "eye candy" getting in the way...).
Although not featured, note the 944 Turbo (its one of the US Cup/Escort cars) and the vintage 911.

Shame they didn't profile the 944. Also found it odd for an American advertisment that the ladies were so flat chested. We usually think of US promo girls as having a bit more rubber on show.

Nice Video, unfortunately the Hawk HPS pads I put on my 951 are the WORST brake pads I have ever bought. I have no confidence or certainty my car will stop...even at low speeds. I have some Cool Carbons on my 964, it feels like I am going to go through the windshield with moderate braking.

Never tried HPS pads, so no idea or comment on that. I certainly would never try them on the track.
Are Cool Carbons still a kevlar based track compound? Used to run Cool Carbons probably 15 years ago, but recall that they went out of business. Supposedly the KFP Magnum Gold were the original Cool Carbon compound. I don't remember seeing the Cool Carbon name over the past several years, did someone buy or resurrect the name recently or have I just had my head in the sand?
I have used a lot of the Hawk Blue 9012s, and have tried a couple sets of the DTC70s. The DTCs are pretty similar to Pagid Blacks, except they squeak even worse.
