Talking back on the road

thank for all your help - all who responded !
yes it was a thermo - switch
and was my clutch master cylinder.
so i had the both done today and $380.00 later im back on the road.
clutch feels great - i just wish my pockets felt as good !!!!
next question
my car is bone stock - if i was thinking about increasing the hp what would you recommend as a first step ? something not too deep on the pockets and something that wont harm my car.
thanks again

Wells' seems to know his stuff, and I'm in the same boat, am going to try a "weltmeister chip" and that should be about it...,for now.Like you I have a low mileage 951 that is bone stock, but immaculate in every way and it all works, don't want to drill, cut, modify and "rice out" a "showroom car"(garage queen)have three to drive so it's reasonable.
