I bought my 9x16 Fuchs for the rear of my '86 951 about 5 years ago from wheel enhancement. My car and wheels are in storage for the winter (Maine) but if you're searching, give them a call. I do think they came from a SC, but they clear fine without spacers. They have the straight poop.

'86 951 Stage 2, and multiyear track only turboS with muchos mods.

good news! just purchased a set from a turbo for $800.00. which seems resonable. Its the first set I have seen in a year of looking, so I'd better get em at any cost. they were on ebay. seller was ianseuroparts. he also has aftermarket center armrests. Get the feeling those are almost as rare as the wheels. thanks everbody

Another option is Lindsey Racing's 3 piece fuch...

If I do wheels, which I dont think I will, I'd do those...very light for the $$.

Like I said. Call Ian. Good for you.

Hey rads,

you must be Rads who was my instructor at the last NHIS with NCR. I had the white 951. Thanks for all the info on an extra set of wheels for my car. I found a set on 1986 951 phone dials with tires for a good price. My car is in my garage for some maintenance. See you at the track.

Thanks for the part# lou. So on your 951, the 16x9" 911 Fuchs don't hit the brake calipers? Maybe the 16x9" Fuchs have different spoke clearances than the 16x7/8" ones. Or perhaps the rear calipers on the 951 are inset more than the front?

Lou, can you try out that 16x9" wheel on the front for us? To see if it hit the brake caliper? Thanks.

Another source of Fuchs is HRE model 311.

Like the Lindsey 3-piece Fuchs, they can be custom-made to any size and offset you want. Originally, I was going to use the Lindsey's RR10 wheels for my racing set and at 14/15-lbs for the 17x10/11" sizes, they were the lightest. But Dave Lindsey told me they won't clear the 951 calipers and they were a little "fragile".

So I went with BBS Race wheels in 17x10.5/11.5". For specs on sizing and offsets to fit massive wheels on an '86 951 with stock fenders, check out the "sizus maximus" section of my website: 951 RacerX website
