Not to be too much a a knucklehead, but NO KIDDING. I'm looking for the $150 version as opposed to the $340 dollar version of the exact same thing. I actually talked to the gentleman at NGK Detroit that's responsible for the distribution of the L1H1 NTK sensor. Currently they only sell directly to Honda. All the NAPA and Partsbin units come from Honda. Right now he's waiting on NGK Japan to make a decision about selling it aftermarket and pricing.

Here are the two sources that sell them in the $150 range...they are on constant backorder .

The Parts Bin, C5010-75044
http://catalog.thepartsbin.com/

NAPA, ECHOS791

All the sensor listed above from NAPA and Parts BIN are the L1H1, NTK...they just sell them in different boxes with different part numbers. When you take it out of the box, they all look exactly the same... because they are. It is the ONLY O2 sensor that will work with this kit.

Russ, drop me a Email if you immediate need for a sensor for testing. I have a spare that is still in the box.

It can also be found as a replacement part for the Honda (part # 36531-P07-003 - Honda Civic 1.5 3 Door, circa 1995, US, non-Californian model).

Thanks all.
Ski, what's the number of the place in CA?
I'll just cut to the chase and give them a call.
I've exhausted all of the sources mentioned in the thread, except for the "bosch" version.
Thanks,
Russ

Got some good news, got some bad news.

First the good,,I found on my American Express report for the year where I bought it, CSK Corp, parent compnay of www.partsamerica.com and the price was 187.94 with shipping.

Now for the bad,,I just went to the web site and the Bosch part number 13246, brought up a suggested retail of $585.96!!

That hurts!

I thought it was tough tracking down a low cost wide band unit. Thats easy compared to locating a o2 sensor. Thanks brian.

The Parts Bin just called me and informed me that they have received another shipment of sensors for the low, low price of only $238 USC.
