Unhappy Oil dipstick tube!?

I just noticed while working on my 951 that when I removed the intake manifold, I must have cracked the dipstick tube off at its starting point. Is there anything I can do, is there a new part I can buy or should I have it welded back on. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

Do you have the intake back on? If so is the dipstick mounting tab bolted to the intake?

Yes, The dipstick tube bolts to the intake, which is what holds the tube in place.

you might want to replace the seal / rubber o-ring (i think it's red) while it's out... $3ish now to save a potential future oil-leak.
