haha, that's funny. it's like a dog with one ear up, and one down... except not cute.

Maybe they're half way through a restoration project, mirror swap, etc.

Special tool,

Uhhh you don't want that BMW. I don't really want to inflict that car on anyone. It's really fast though (relatively). It was doing 0-60 in under 9 seconds on bald snow tires. There's enough torque to twist the little suspension under hard acceleration. LOL I was driving behind it in the 944 and suddenly had a lot of excitement when my friend who was driving in front shifted gears fast and blew the end of the tail pipe off the back. I was dodging peices of rust and bouncing pipes!

There's some good backfiring and it leaks fuel from the tank if it's filled up too much... yeah it's a deathtrap... a fast one though.

That's a great way to decide which mirror you like the best on these cars.

I thought I prefered the original mirrors, but I am not too sure now, the aero looks pretty good.

That is a cool splitter too, I think it's the AIR version.

It is not a Turbo S, it is a 1991 Turbo.

I know the guy, he is ok. Just that he has other eggs to fry than taking care of the look of his car...

I noticed that it had the 968 wing on the back... but he called it a turbo S hence the title of the thread.

Well, the 91s are "S" spec. All models after 88 are commonly refered to as "S" cars, though technically they do not carry the "S" option package as it became standard on the post 88 cars.
