I had one on a twincharged Mr2. Its a great bang-for-the-buck EMS. In my opinion, the main disadvantage is the extreme lack of tuner shops willing to deal with it because they don't know the system. If you are going to support it yourself, its a good idea. If you need support, go with Electromotive or something similar.

If you need support, check in this forum =). I think I was the first here to get it installed, Russ has his working great, and I think there's a small handfull of people in the middle of an SDS install.
Do a search on SDS, I've detailed my installation in a bunch of threads. Russ has included a lot more pictures than I did in my threads as well. Here's a few :
