Post Under engine trays

Does anyone have a picture of what the under engine trays are supposed to look like?

My car came without them and I heard they are necessary for aerodynamics and to keep things clean. Anyone else running without them?

I have some pics of my now sold ones somewhere around here - I'll see if I can post 'em later. There's basically three pieces: one plastic one that attaches to the bottom of the front bumper/fender, another plastic one that attaches to it to cover the belts and front of the underside of the engine, and one aliminum one that covers the rear of the engine and oil pan.

They don't make much difference in aerodynamics unless you plan on going 130+ mph but they do help with engine cooling which is important in toasty climates.

Here's the main one that's underneath the engine. If I find the smaller metal one that attaches to the oil pan I'll post it later.

The rear aluminum tray has 2 upright panels that protect the a-arm rear rubber mounts from exhaust pipe heat.

My car had none of the trays when I bought it, so I bought the rear two and my AIR splitter doubles as the front unit.

Can't really tell anything with or without but Porsche must have had a reason.

It's also a heat shield. I'd recommend picking one up used or something cuz it's $150 from the dealer. A 968 has one too which is where mine came from.
