Default Options for thick core racing radiators

My HMR 3" radiator sprung a leak. Looking for alternatives that can support the same HP. A lot of modifications were made to have it fit in my car as the radiator is thicker and taller. I don't want to have to redo everything in order to fit a different size radiator, but I think Im limited to what else is available.

All of the other I know of are direct replacement radiators such as the Ron Davis and Wizard.

Any Ideas?

Any reason why you can't take it to a local radiator shop and get it repaired? Most hot rod shops (the guys that build high end street rods) can tell you who does good work locally. They can usually repair or replace tanks, re-core, etc with no problem and it would be a lot cheaper than getting a whole new racing radiator.

+1

Any competent radiator shop should be able to fix it.

Definetley a possibility, not sure exactly where it is leaking from, it might not be repairable. I would also have to find someone I could relie on.

Not sure what is available in the states but PWR does custom radiators, you give them your dimentions and they make it for you.

I was going to suggest the same thing. Pretty sure they build the ones that CW and Broodfoot sells.

ps, John, have you got any video of your car in action?

Thanks for the Links.
Hopefully someone can turnaround one quickly.

Patrick, I was looking forward to seeing my in-car after the last Glen race. When I went to check it out nothing had recorded because the SD card was full. It would have been some good footage.. next time..
