Question LBE

Has anyone tried building a boost enhancer? The LBE seems simple enough to make, and for a lot less than $90....

If you do a search I think you'll find a discussion on the topic. The LBE is a reliable, flawless product that TRANFORMS a stock 951. It provides much more than $90.00 of value.

I bought a hallman boost controller for $50.

To the best of my knowledge the hallman is not a bleeder type boost controller like the turbotecnics and they claim it only opens once X psi is reached...just like the LBE.

These are no more than a pneumatic pressure relief valve. If you can find a place that sells air compressor parts you should be able to buy an adjustable pressure relief valve for $20.
