If you're going get your block sleeved, any shop that does that kind of work will include those sleeves as part of the job. It's really the specifications and workmanship in the sleeving process that counts.

RollsRoyce Chromoly sleeves are the only sleeve we use. Its a very hard surface, and can stand up to a great deal of stress/heat and abuse. I still have great hatching marks on my sleeves after many events at the pca and poc big track.
I will not use plain steel sleeves.

Ah yes, note where the 'chro-' in chromoly comes from, chromium or chrome! Very hard stuff... Also from a strength perspective, chromoly is about twice as strong as plain mild steel.

If you added the sleeves with the resulting bump in strength I'd bet you couldn't keep your had off that boost control !!!!
