My dash is cracked. I don't think a cheapo cover will satisfy me. Unless 20 people post how great they look.
Where is the cheapest dealer to get a new dash?
Is a 'remanufactured' dash every bit as good?
Where is cheapest 'remanufacturd' dash?
Thanks.

The dash restoration is only $595 BUT TAKES FIVE WEEKS.
I've heard a new dash is around a $1000, but don't know where to get it, my local dealer quotes more.
Has anyone experience with getting dash repaired or know where the cheapest OEM one would be had?
Thanks

Altho I normally recommend Ian whenever I can, I would suggest you go with JustDashes on this one, as the use a slightly heavier grade vinyl which should last the rest of the life of your car. Their quality is unmatched.

Ian said he had nothing in stock, and that he could have mine redone for $895. he indicated he had an independent contractor do it.
The problem is that rebuilt dashes have quoted $595-$895, 5 weeks to 8 weeks.
Actually the lowest price was the shortest turn around; my guess is that they do their own work.
Someone had posted at some time that a dealer sold them for $1000. While paying $400 more for new vs. redone isn't appealing, i can't have my car down for 5-8 weeks, i'll go nuts.

Well that is interesting. I talked with them over the phone some time ago and they refused to touch an airbag dash. Maybe they changed their policy since then. From what I remember Automobile Atlanta provides the remanufactered dash at near the same price without the added down time for the car while sending in your own dash. I would recommend someone call both if they are going to do this and find out what the latest policies and prices are.
