Post Looking for a headlight kit

I want to trick out my headlights, I would really like to know where this guy got his kit.

Has anyone seen one like this. I might could do it myself with fiberglass and lexan? Any good kits out there that you guys have used/know of? Also where can I get a front bumper cover like that one.
The picture was taken from Paragon Products customer cars page.
Hope they don't mind.

That looks like the lights off the Strosek kit.

I think the "home job" head lights look rather 3000GT'ish

OK so it's not Strosek. Probably home made from Integra parts =).

Not sure about doing mods like those, but if you're interested in a nice kit w/different wiring etc, then check out the thread on the main 924,944,951,968 board, that was started by Iceshark. He really knows his lights, and might be able to help w/such a conversion. Again, I'm not positive, but it might be worth a try.

I've been sitting here staring at those photos, and I'm not sure if I like them or hate them. I think the dual bulb one (Don Quinn) looks better than the other, but, I think it might look even better w/some sort of plastic cover that would cover the inset lenses. I hope that makes sense- it would be more aero dynamic. The part I don't like about either of them, is the fact that the 951 has the little strip that the emblem sits on, and the lights fit into- it's separate from the hood. If I could learn a few photo shop techniques on my computer, I might be able to work one out the way I think it might look if the hood were one piece- it might actually look worse, but I'd like to mess around w/it and see. I've always liked the way the 968's looked up front w/their exposed lights, but I think I'm in the minority...

Robby, Those lights look a bit small and are likely junk. If one went with the Hella 90mm (a bit over 3 1/2" diameter) in HID, that would be a killer system. The lights alone would cost well over a grand though. But it would be a knock-out lighting system and looker.

i too have been staring at the two pictures and can't decide whether or not i like either one. i do agree with robby though and prefer Donald Quinn's dual headlight set-up over the Strosek. i've actually purchased some parts through Don from cars he was parting out. i think i still have his email somewhere. if i can find it, i will email him and ask him about his set-up.

if i remember correctly, those should be VA plates on his car.

robby: how was the holidays?

Badue, please drop off your keys at the closest Porsche dealership and buy a Civic. That way I will not have to look at another riced out waste.
