Post K26/6 boost vs. rpm curve

I've searched and can't find a boost curve for a stock 951. This info would be really useful in conjunction with Rob's dme maps to get some ignition tuning insights.

I have a boost curve for a stock 26/8 with the cycling valve on a dyno if that helps...

And here is a modified (chips, MBC maybe shimmed wastegate?) 26/6 car:

Both were dyno'ed on a dynapack (water brake dyno that bolts up to the hubs).

Russ,
Neat curves. Can you tell us what was different on the boost curve on the modified set that has way more boost below 3700 RPM? Is this the curve for the MBC?

thanks
Gary

Hey Gary,
Actually adrial supplied the boost curves, so I don't know. Good question though.

The first dyno curve that doesn't hit full boost untill way up in the revs is my car, bone stock with the cycling valve, etc still in place. The fact that my car had stock boost control in place along with the fact that it has a bigger hotside (#8 vs. #6) produces that curve...where the boost doesn't get going until much later.

Also, the other car was freshly rebuilt...so I'm sure that helps bring the boost on sooner...along with the fact that he had bypassed the cycling valve and has a smaller hotside on the turbo.

Also the boost drop-off in the high-RPMs on Adrial's car isn't as dramatic as other cars with a K26/6 turbo. Those typically drop to 10-11psi by redline.
