Leaking oil from the clutch pedal????
My car is leaking oil from the clutch pedal. It leaks actually from the rubber boot right next to the clutch pedal adjuster. What could be wrong?

Tom is correct, most likely the clutch master cylinder and if you replace it also do the clutch slave cylinder at the same time, if you change just one the new will have more pressure than the old one can handle. Ask how I know

If you plan to do the job yourself, be forewarned...the clutch master cylinder is a PITA to get off!! There is very little room to access the unit from the engine side of the firewall. I had to unbolt the brake booster to get enough room to make the connections. The slave cylinder, however, is very easy to access once the starter is off the bellhousing.

I am positive it is the clutch master cylinder. What could be causing this leak by the firewall? I don't or haven't ever fixed a clutch master cylinder before. How much and what are the parts that I will need?

Clutch Master about $55
Clutch Slave about $41
from Paragon.
The job is not bad just a little tricky to get at the nuts on the master cylinder and you have to stand on your head under the dash to unhook the pedal.
Remove the starter and the slave is a easy remove.
I will suggest a Motive Power Bleeder, this will make clutch and brake bleeding simple ($40)

Doesn't sound so bad. And the price too. Thanks
Oh, and thanks David for those bump stops I installed the koni inserts last friday. Good performance, however, I think I should've went with 250 lb. springs instead of 200 lb. The ride set at full firm is really not too firm like I would want it to be.
Anyway thanks.
