My commute's just over 5 miles on non-highway, but not stop & go, so it's not so bad. Maybe I can get away with it.

So, you are selling the M3 first? I've been thinking about getting rid of my 951 for a S4, but I've always liked the M3 as well. Maybe we can work some type of a trade?

i am also looking for a 951, and my current car is a 97 M3, what a conincidence. And I am coming to Modesto this sunday to visit my brother and check out a fellow rennlister's 951. How about showing me your car? Iam free sunday afternoon.

mledbetter, your CA neighbor may be a better option than me for your car. I know the reliability of the 951 won't be as good as the M3, but I'm in a lucky position of having a "backup" 993. My commute's nowhere near long enough to heat up the 12 qts. in the 911, so I want a fun daily driver. Not that the M3's not fun, it's just that after 4 years of ownership I'm ready for something different and I'd like to drive a Porsche every day.
