I actually SAW a RUF 951 at the local dealership when I worked there a few years ago......it was for sale for $10,000 <img src="graemlins/crying.gif" border="0" alt="[crying]" /> ........It had a woman owner all its life and was metallic pearl with burgandy interior........I have heard they dont exist, but all the mechanics and service advisers were going crazy over it. I have since tried to track it down, but havent been able to yet.........

Well, looks like I'm going to pass on the car, after putting in a bid (I was told that the car had about 26k on it) of $15 to see if it would fly, I ran a carfax and found out the car had 91k in 1995, so I'm guessing it's a 126k car. Since I have no receipts for any of the work, and can't confirm service, let alone that RUF broke open the motor and did $90K worth of work, I think I'm going to opt for a different route, especially since the cosmetic stuff didn't really do it for me, it was just the low miles and the RUF upgrades that were enticing to me, and since it doesn't really have low miles, and I can't verify any real RUF upgrades...looks like I'm back in the hunt for a nice S for a realistic price.
