Exclamation Again! Apexi SAFC II with any MAF kit?

Again! Does anyone know for sure if you can use the Apexi SAFC II with any MAF kit? I need to know! Have the SAFC II, must have the MAF! Need HP.

In theory it shouldn't be a problem. The problem is the connection! I don't think i've heard of anyone on here that has replaced the controller they get with their MAF with anything else. Good luck with it though!

It has been suggested that I buy a pro m MAF only and use my safc II to control air/fuel... hence wont need the whole arc2 arm etc... makes sense and its cheaper! What do you mean by connection difficulties?

Typically if you guy a used or generic MAF, you may not have the correct connectors or know what the pin-outs are to hook up to your car. But getting a new Pro-M MAF will get you the connectors and the you'll have all the details on the wiring.

Danno, I have been in conference with you about via email, any advances yet? Can you source me the MAF? Do you need my stock air flow meter? I want to just plug the MAF into the existing j-pipe at the moment.

Also, does the 86 951 really have forged rods and sodium valves factory?
