Yeap, I'm about to dump $2500 into this fvcker for oil pan gasket, rod bearings, water pump, all front seals [I think the front main is leaking], new belts, rollers, power steering pump, blah blah blah...and my valve cover gaskets are still leaking.

Well it has done better than a British bike. They leaked when new. One of my favorite ribs goes:
"How do you add oil to a Norton (motorcycle)?"
"Turn in over, pour oil on the bottom and wait for it to leak in."

Yeah,
Just wait until one of those leaks decides to catch fire.

Every time I've had something done to my car I've asked my mechanic to replace the seals in that area, even when they were OK. It's now leak free. Earlier this year one of the front seals went again, and he replaced it for free. Not cheap, but worth it to me. I hate leaving oil stains on the street in front of my house, and it keeps the rubber from deteriorating.

Mine is leaking too. But from one of the power steering lines. I haven't had a problem since my 3000 job on my engine.

I have no place to work on the car.

That scares me enough not to even drive it until it's fixed.

With that kinda mileage it's bound to happen

that procedure with replacing the seals involved with any service sounds like very sound advice

You probably don't need to go that far. My fire came from a PRODIGIOUS leak above right above the #4 header and gave me plenty of warning in the form of tons of white smoke. I was just stupid.

Ah well, still haven't driven it much for the past couple weeks because it smokes quite a bit.
