Default 951 Cup Wing

I'm going to have a 951 cup wing in my hands this week.I know someone who can mold and produce replicas.I'm wondering how many people would want one at $400-$500?He would have to do at least a half dozen to break even as it is a complex part to mold and produce. So who's interested at that price?it will be a high quality part,I know his work well. The OEM part is not for sale. Thanks Joel

Do you have a pic of the cup wing? I thought the Turbo Cup used the same rubber wing as the 951?

Same wing in fiberglass,so it actually provides some downforce.I'll post a pic asap.

I'd like to see the pics. If your guy would replicate, say, the 968 Turbo RS 3-piece wing for $400-500, then there would be Rennlisters beating down his door with cash in hand.

the cup wing looks pretty cool. Although i dont know how well it would work for when your backing out of a parking lot as it is kinda tall

As far as I know and have seen, the 951 Cup Cars had the stock rubber wing and I have never heard of anything else to suggest otherwise.

There was an extended fiberglass version that came on the 924 race cars but thats a different story.

I think it's the same as 924 Carrera GTS,which came with factory lexan hatch and solid wing.not the larger Lemans wing.I may be wrong

If it dosen't flex like the stock rubber one, wouldn't that make it functional?

I have the fiberglass 924 gts wing for my 951. It is alot taller-deeper than the stock rubber wing. Mine a reproduction that I don't believe is made any more.
