Post Anderson Motorworks rebuilding my Enigine

My 87 951 has been mixing oil and water ever since it was rebuilt about 2 months ago. We rebuilt it and then a week there after it started mixing for reasons unknown. At that point I started looking around for the best person to rebuild my engine, so all I have to do in the end is reinstall the tall block. After talking with John it was decided that I will remove the engine again and drive it down to him ASAP. On Saturday I did this (pulled the egine and drove down) and spent the night down in San Diego. The next day going to his shop was pretty impressive. He had some cars there that were crazy (ex. 944S2 convertable w/ a 968 turbo motor in it,...gorgeous. His 944 high-compression race car w/ turn out exhaust pipes,...pissed off!!!). John definetly has a good thing going and I cant wait to see my finished block! and once it is back in my car

Dude, I got your message but you didn't leave your number so I could call you back. Call or e-mail me so I can get your number and lemme know when you go back down to get the motor...I was in LA this weekend with some buddies so I couldn't go with ya but hopefully next time. John's a beast so he'll have a sweet motor ready for you in no time. Good luck!

Hey Gabe,

I know I said this, but I'm sorry I could not meet you in person this weekend. I'm sure Shaun tok good car of you.

Actually that S2 has an S2 motor, its not a 968, but it our latest turbo conversion.

I'm surprised Shaun didn't let you take the race car out for a few hot laps around the buildin...(he didn't...did he ?) LOL

I'm going to start tearing into your block tomorow. I should have the solution pretty quick.

Anyway, the next time you down...you have a room at my house and we should grab a beer or two at the elephant bar down the road.

Take Care Gabe,

John,
Maybe we should go to the Elephant bar first, have a few kamakazes , and then take the race car around the building for ***** and giggles,..haha
Trevor, My cell # is 831-239-6216. Lets get a hold of each other and work out the next road trip down to SD for the motor.

Sanden has built the vented nose panel between the lights. It´s fiberglass. Costs around 210 dollars in Sweden.

Pannon,
Do you know what is involved to adapt that wing to a stock 951's rear spoiler? Also, I heard Turbo Tim was working towards a rear spoiler in a 968RS format, does anyone know if this is true?

John, Have you been reading the thread on Aquamist? Very interesting, I would love to know your feeling on this being used on our 951s. Plus, how does the timing adjust for the water/alcohol mix?

It´s 968 RS wing side mounts and then a custom built carbonfibre wing on top, it costs around 2200 dollars!!! It´s really good on tracks though.

The Aquamist is a real good product, the 2s system is good thanks to the warning options. I gonna install that later this winter on mine 951

Thanks Johan. A rear wing priced at 2200.00 better give me a full-body massage on top of aerodynamics,..
