Not at all, once you see what's in there you'll realize how much of a restriction it is. But apparently the hollow chamber creates turbulence or something, that's what I was told on here anyway. A test pipe would be better.

If you do go that route, good luck! I attached a hole saw on a 4 foot drill extension and went at it for about half an hour probably more
