Yes, that sounds like it! It came out to 6k after the fees for using a credit card. Then I had to short sell my supermoto to pay for the rest of the car. I thought it was a good decision at the time, but then the clutch went out halfway home to merced. And thats where I am now.

It sounds like it needs a clutch or something. That wouldn't be a bad pickup. I would post pics you might be able to sell the car as a whole.

Ok, if it can be fixed for $70 though, would it be worth it to fix and then sell?

Yeah i can fix it. Clutches on the turbo 944s are pretty difficult though. I think its just the slave.. the clutch pedal went to the floor and the car leaked brake fluid out.

Don't mean to be blunt, but it's just plain wrong to part out a straight Porsche because of a $70 part. You really shouldn't own one if you can't afford to maintain it or fix it.

If anything, the car shouldn't be parted because you choose to live beyond your means.

Or ~$30 and a bit of elbow grease.

Well I haven't touched my personal savings account yet. You know, the one for emergencies like job loss, injury, accident etc. So I'm not beyond my means yet.

I have decided I should just fix it. I may just pull the money out of savings. Im living off bean burritos right now to avoid dipping into savings.

Scott is not local to you, but plenty of people on this forum are, so if you ask around on here, it's likely that someone in your area will offer to help you get this sorted.

Is the car being parted, or not?
