Clutch Slipping?
I pushed the car up to 6000 rpm's in third today and I noticed that the Rpm's stopped increasing at that point. Is this evidence of my clutch slipping? Thanks guys.

I don't think that your rpm's would stop going up if your clutch was slipping. Instead, your rpm's would probubably go up while your speed/accel. would remain constant or even slow down depending on how bad the slipage is.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Correct, clutch slipping would show as rpms going high without the car moving at all (extreme condition). If you are flooring the car and the rpms go up without the car showing any signs of increasing the speed then your clutch is slipping. You will also get the not-so-sweet smell of burned clutch when you step out of your car.

So what do you guys think the problem is on my car? It was floored and the car just stopped accelerating and the rpm's stopped climbing. Maybe something wrong with the throttle? maybe the computer chips? Those would be my only other guesses. Thanks for the replies.

That happened to me once, I still dont know what it was...It has never repeated itself thoough.
Well, my car paused accelerating and then continued again in a few seconds...right up around 5, 6k. When my car did it, I was in 2nd gear.
