Default Intercooler Hard Pipes

I've read a few old threads where a few members talked about GB's or even fabbing up intercooler hard pipes to sell... did anything ever come of that? I need something to replace my stock pipes and I don't want to spend over $300 on this part of my project... my parts list is already up near $2,000, and I'm not messing with a new turbo or MAF!

$300 isn't much for those, actually. If you think that's expensive try making them yourself and you'll quickly understand.

new pipes dont provide any real performance advantage. Just keep the old ones.

Thanks guys, I know all of the reasons not to do them, but I'm trying to clarify where several attempts at making lower-cost versions by rennlist members stands. There are a few threads discussing it, but I can't locate any where product was delivered and at what price. They probably died because they are too difficult & expensive to fab up, and that's fine, but I'd like to nail it down before I drop $$$.

Just tired of the bent pipe in there and want to dress things up a bit.

Thanks Jason. Are those stainless or aluminum?

Unfortunately, I'm not looking to vent the bypass valve to atmosphere, but those are good looking pipes!

FWIW that BOV can be used as a recirc valve, it just needs the flange and plumbing to route back into a J pipe...
